AUBRAC : A HERITAGE ALONG THE WAY OF ST JACQUES

To the south of the Massif Central lies the Aubrac plateau, a captivating land with a harsh climate and unspoilt nature. Since the Middle Ages, the region has been crossed by pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. This plateau was for a long time one of the most perilous portions of the pilgrimage and has come... along with many myths and legends that still inhabit these mountains.About 20,000 pilgrims cross the Aubrac plateau every year.
